Know your working clothes

Working clothes are designed to provide both comfort and functionality while ensuring safety on the job. They should be comfortable enough to allow for easy movement, yet close-fitting enough to avoid catching on machinery or projections, especially when working in tight spaces or moving around the ship.

Coveralls vs. Overalls:

Coveralls are a one-piece garment that offers full-body protection, covering everything from neck to ankles, including the arms. They are ideal for environments where comprehensive protection from contaminants or hazards is necessary.

In contrast, overalls are a two-piece outfit consisting of trousers and a bib with shoulder straps. They are worn over regular clothes and provide protection primarily for the lower body. Unlike coveralls, overalls do not cover the arms, making them less suited for full-body protection.
